現代では日本でも数えるほどの作家しか行っていない堆漆。

Lacquerware is a traditional craft of Kagawa Prefecture, Japan.

Among its many techniques, this work employs "Tsuishitsu", a method involving the repeated application of lacquer over a period of more than six months.

Today, only a handful of artists in Japan continue to practice this technique.
